Welcome to Oak Park Lodges

Oak Park Lodges is a small collection of two lodges.
Both of them are pleasant, single-storey buildings that can comfortably accommodate a family or mid-sized group.
They’re located in the village of Shillingford, which lies two miles northeast of Bampton.

Each of the two lodges is well designed throughout. On the outside, they’re easy on the eye. On the inside, they’re just as attractive and are fitted out with plenty of modern conveniences. There are three bedrooms: a double, a twin and a second double with an en suite. Every bedroom has its own TV and there’s a fourth TV in the open-plan living area. All the necessary kitchen amenities are supplied and the dining area has more than enough room to sit everyone. As many as six people can comfortably sleep in either lodge.

The surroundings enjoy the rolling Devon countryside and close proximity to the Dunkery Horner Wood National Nature Reserve, where you can traverse the landscape and make the most of local attractions. Treat your loved ones to a meal out art one of the nearby pubs or restaurants such as the White Horse Inn serving hearty meals, real ales, and fine wines. Travel by car to the seaside town of Minehead and discover Minehead Beach as well as Blenheim Gardens or follow the coastline along to Hurlstone Point which showcases magnificent views of the surroundings. Further afield, discover Watchet Boat Museum and Tropiquaria Wildlife Park where you can view an array of tropical animals, birds, and fish. For more outdoor adventures, head into the Quantock Hills AONB which is peppered with walking, hiking and biking trails as well as the National Trust owned Fyne Court wild gardens.
